Installation= new love

Our ceramics class was lucky enough to acquire a space at school to show our work. The show was wonderful, and I finally got to experience the installation aspect of art. Needless to say, I am hooked.

Porcelain

A more refined approach to my poking method. I started to play with the lighting behind my porcelain pieces.

First Quarter of a lot of Freedom

First process with texture on large surfaces. More ritual practice when it came to poking every hole by hand with a small tool.

First Time with Oils

Random paintings from my intro painting class.

Meaty

For another moldmaking project I experimented with wax. Another great material I am glad to discover. Anyway, I made hame bones. And I hung them up. Like meat.

I Enjoy Welding

First metal project, besides the wire feather, and I really liked it. I wish I would have welded more. Maybe I can bring back this skill in some new projects...

Figure Modeling Part 2: Actually making pieces

I started attaching my studies together to create an odd siamese look to the forms.
